Inspired by vintage college sweaters, scarves, and hats from the early 1900s, Collegiate Knitwear Designs is proud to partner with universities rich in history and heritage to introduce limited-edition garments made from the finest natural fabrics.
As the quintessential American fashion piece, the college letterman’s sweater pays homage to campus life from an earlier era, but it also honors the aspirations of that era – the aspirations of the American dream.

MANUFACTURING
Unlike most mass-produced fashions of the moment, our knitwear is created in small-batch quantities, as part of our custom, limited-edition productions. Although this often results in greater demand for our garments than supply, we remain focused on exquisite materials and the kind of artisanal craftmanship handed down from one generation to the next.

Once our designs are developed and our yarns are secured, we partner with a family-owned luxury knitwear manufacturer in Leicestershire, England, whose decades of knowledge and craftsmanship seamlessly combine traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest technological advancements. With care in every stitch, our select natural fibers are knit into stylish, exclusively crafted garments that are made to last.
