This is a beautiful, quality product. My mother was a great knitter. She actually taught classes in knitting. This reminds me of something she would have handmade. I am not a big turtleneck person, but this one is great and not tight at all. It really does remind me of the photos of 1900 and before era football jerseys/sweaters. I liked it so much, I also purchased the fisherman's crew neck version too.

I love, love, love this sweater! It is beautiful, well made and fits true to size. I actually think it looks even better in person. If you want it to fit oversized, you should size up.
